Storemate started in March 2021, with a straightforward idea: make extra space easier to access for households and small businesses in Sydney. We saw families needing somewhere to put furniture during moves and renovations, while small businesses needed somewhere practical for stock, equipment and records.
From the beginning, the business had to keep things lean, listen carefully and work out what customers actually valued. That experience led us to focus on simple communication, flexible storage arrangements and a service that feels approachable.
Since March 2021, we have continued to grow as a relatively young company. Our goal is not to pretend to be the biggest storage operator in Sydney — it is to become a dependable local option for people who need a little more room.
